The whole morning, I was struggling with the children, trying to get them to calm down. They've been unusually loud and rambunctious today. I didn't know HOW I'd get them to have quiet time peacefully. Well, your CD arrived minutes before "quiet time" was going to be enforced. I put it in, and ALL THREE children, got an art book, sat on the couch, and LISTENED. No talking. No bickering. NOTHING. They just LISTENED. I was seriously SHOCKED. I didn't even TELL them to listen to the CD. This was nothing short of miraculous. Nap time happened peacefully, and my oldest is STILL listening to the CD. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I honestly have tears in my eyes. I really think God is using this CD to minister to us today.

I have been frustrated where music is concerned for years. I seem to have become REALLY picky. I am bored by almost all the contemporary Christian music out there, I'm not overly fond of most "classical" Christian or hymn CDs, and I like a variety of STYLES of music - but to get one where I like ALL the songs is a huge challenge.

My husband is a professional musician and he's picky about what kind of music our children listen to. He doesn't want them to listen to the "dumbed down" kids song CDs out there, and he wants them to be exposed to NEW music - NEW composers and styles, etc. AS WELL as the old. "The Heavens Declare", the latest Sing The Word^® CD from the very musical Harrow family has very quickly become one of my favorite CD's from any genre. And I have to say that being a member of the NY Philharmonic, I am very particular about what I listen to when I am not performing myself. The musical and production quality alone should place this CD at the top of Billboard's charts and were it not for the fact that it is devised for a very different purpose and audience, I believe it would be. And though I could recommend this CD for purely musical reasons alone, the most compelling quality is how fully God's anointing permeates it.
