Duplication Policy

CD Duplication

1. You are permitted to make backup copies of a purchased CD for personal use, limited to your immediate family. For example, you can burn a backup CD for yourself, or load songs on to your child's mp3 player (or other audio device).

2. If you wish to make copies of one or more songs from a CD for choral rehearsals or any other group distribution please apply here for a license.

MP3 Download Duplication

1. You are permitted to load songs to mp3 players (or other audio devices) and burn a CD for personal use, limited to your immediate family. For example, you could load songs to your children's personal audio devices, and burn a backup CD for yourself.

2. If you wish to make copies of one or more songs from an mp3 download for choral rehearsals or any other group distribution, please apply here for a license.

Sheet Music Download Duplication

1. Lead Sheet Download: You are permitted to print 2 hard copies of a downloaded lead sheet (3 copies if the lead sheet contains 3 vocal parts). If additional copies are needed, please apply here for a license.

2. Piano Score Download: You are permitted to print as many copies as there are parts in the downloaded piano score. For example, if the piano score includes vocal and piano parts (standard), then you may print 2 copies of the score.  If the piano score includes vocal, piano and 2 flute parts, then 4 copies are permitted. If additional copies are needed for multiple vocalists, it would be best to also purchase the lead sheet version and then apply for a multiple copy license.

3. Score Download: These are downloads that include more than the typical vocal and piano parts.You are permitted to print as many copies as there are parts in the downloaded score. Additionally, if you are having multiple instrumentalists playing on one part, you may print as many copies as needed for that purpose. For example, if a score includes violin and piccolo, and you have 3 violinists and 2 piccolo players, then it is permissible  to print 5 parts for these players. If additional copies are needed for multiple vocalists, it would be best to also purchase the lead sheet version and then apply for a multiple copy license.

Songbook (hardcopy or download) Duplication

You are permitted to make 2 copies of any page within a songbook. If you need more copies of a song (or songs) from a songbook, please apply here for a license.
